My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased... The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | Looks good, I wouldn't mind getting myself a DV camcorder, got all the FireWire stuff on my PC, just nothing Video-related with a firewire output....

My System: Motorised dish, dvd players and recorders; a freeview box, broadband, VCRs, four TVs, mobiles, pcs, a mac, Ipod, digital cameras...the lot! | Goodmans do one for about £100, but I am not sure if it's like yours, as regards quality. I've seen one in action, and you get around 15 minutes recording time out in one time.
