anybody got this..and if so help!!!

Hi guys...just took delivery of the following today... Sony RDR-HX725 DVD Player/Recorder with 160 gb HDD..problem is I can't seem to set it up properly..the only way I can receive a picture is to connect an aerial cable from the Sky box RF out to the aerial in on the HDD recorder..picture quality crap!!! anybody ot one of these and can offer any help!! cheers

Feed the aerial into the Sony first and then retune, to enable recording from the Sky digibox, connect a scart from the digibox VCR socket to the input/output socket on the Sony, possibly number 1 and set the box to AV1 when recording.
