My System: Cuberevo Twin HD on a 85cm motorised Fracarro Penta dish. Superior Dark Motor. Inverto BLACK Ultra Single lnb (IDLP-SINL40-ULTRA-OPP)
High quality HD box required

I started with a Fortec Star PassionHD, then I have had 2 TM6900's an original and a super and found them OK, but I'm thinking of replacing the super now.

What I am after is a manufacturer that offers top quality components and outstanding picture quality. I want a box that handles SD and HD perfectly and offer the same kind of features that the TM's do. The TM's perform OK, but I've not found them outstanding.

Price isn't always a guide. A Dreambox 8000 is the most expensive at £840 and a Vantage 8000HD seems the next dearest model at around £470. But are they as good as the price?

I want a box that handles SD pictures perfectly (TM6900 is a touch weak on this side although HD is fine) and generally offers the best picture quality possible. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and don't want to watch programmes constantly looking for flaws in the picture.

It needs to work with a Diablo cam, I'm not looking for something that needs patching.

So, I'm looking for a like minded person who appreciates real quality here, been there, gone through the box process and has ended up really happy with their latest purchase.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated....
