Smile Mvision 200-HD Newbie question

Hi all
Just hooked up new Mvision 200-HD to new Sony Bravia tv using old sky dish with quad LNB for now until Ican afford a motorized dish.
Scart works fine but hdmi cable will only work after I physically pull it out and push it back in every time I switch on. The picture will then display as 567i even though the Mvision is set to max 1080i and the sony is full HD capable at 1080p.
It is still a fantastic crisp picture on the HD channel and also very good on the upscaled channels but why is it not 1080i and can anyone help with the hdmi problem. Thanks

Sorry posted this in wrong forum - will move it when I can work out how to delete and start new one

Hi TrevOr
You only need to switch Off and then On from the remote and you'll get your hdmi to work.or fix on your Bravia the port first and then ON .I have same pbm.

Re-Mvision 200-HD Newbie question

Hello santosanto
Thanks for the reply.
Still cant get the signal untill I pull the plug. Have tried all 3 Bravia ports and also tried it on a Waferdale hdmi tv with the same results.
I am hopefully going to reset box when I can get a cable and see if I have set everything up correctly.

Re-Mvision 200-HD Newbie question

Hi all quick update
Tried new hdmi cable - no luck.
Did a reset and now displays correctly in 1080i.
Still have to pull out and push back hdmi cable to to get signal.
Searching for a firmware update.

My System: MVision HD200 Combo

Solution is here (I had the same problem):

_http://www.techradar.com/reviews/audio-visual/digital-tv-receivers/mvision-hd200-combo-426740/review?artc_pg=2

If the 'RGB/YUV' output option is set to RGB the HDMI output delivers 576i -

For hi-def viewing, though, the option needs to be switched to YUV
