Thanks very much for that, your pic makes it all clear, I will give it a try as soon as the bike and car racing is finished. Will let you know how I get on.

Thanks again.

I just noticed Jem, that the labelling of the PMT and PCR fields in your pic are reversed. The values in the actual fields are of course correct though.

No problem whatsoever, I picked up Disek's post before I made the adjustments.

I now have to wait for some transmissions to see if it has worked, nothing until Wednesday evening football I believe.

Thanks everyone, your help has been invaluable.

Five Family of Channels

While trying to set up ITV HD on my Humax 2000, I stumbled across C4 & E4 both FTA tagged as 8350 & 8389.
Does anyone know if any of the Five group of Channels can be received in a similar way?
Cheers

Bit off subject so I don't know if mod will want to move to Freesat discussion. In the meantime Ch 5 etc still with Sky at moment but expected to be free to air later this year. Surely it's time Freesat realised we can see their channels and broadcast proper channel names and stop hiding ITV HD. Isn't it good for adv revenue if people actually watch the programmes?

My System: Humax HDCI2000

Been waiting until now to try ITV HD as someone mentioned football tonight, although it looks like BBC have it tonight. Was there supposed to be any other transmission tonight as i'm still getting ITV HD Logo and text "This service is currently Unavailable"

Got C4 & Fiver working with my T.Rex CAM, but only got sound with C4 HD. I have ver 15 and I see others have it working with ver 15, any idea's ?
My T.Rexx was last updated 12 months ago ver 2.16, could it be a version issue with the T.Rex, anyone else got C4 HD with a T.Rex?

Finally, do you know where I can find Five Life ?

I'm pointing towards Astra 1 & 2, those with C4 HD working, what is your setup e.g. ver, Cam, Satellite?

No pic for me since v11, I got fed up anyway with the terrible lip sync - it's beyond the scope of the adjustment on v11.

I seem to have inadvertantly hijacked this thread for C4 HD questions, I've started a specific thread for C4 HD in the Humax HD Forum; with enough input I'm sure we can sort it. Please take a look.

My System: humax hdci2000 home built Asus core duo and and 3.0G on home network with Philips 42" HDTV

Hi I am new to all this, but having read all the input I was succesfull last night in getting ITV HD up on my HDCI2000. I updated firmware from version 7 to 16. Uploaded channel list, copied BBCHD and edited to ITVHD values and downloaded back to box, and ITVHD logo appeared but no program as not transmitting. I will not know if sound is ok until ITV transmit a program again, but my TV info does say it is in Dolby sterio though.
Thanks again to all

Adobe thinks it'a a PDF file. Don't try to open it. Use Formula editor.

A long long time ago...

developers,
have made some progress since last posting.

Humax eventually got back to me stating that there were some system files missing in the Windows environment and after a Google search on the system error produced two search results (the first being this post) I managed to get the correct system files and open Formula! Hurrah!

After a getting a serial cable yesterday and not managing to do anything I returned it for a Null modem cable and managed to upload my channel list in 30 minutes. I didn't realise how slow and unresponsive Formula was and any clicking would take at least five minutes to give a response. After much frustration, many ctrl+alt+dels, a shut down and reboot, Formula was 'less unresponsive' and would respond after a minute after clicking and I chose to go with the 'click and paste' option from the Freesat zip file of the ITV HD line to my saved list however, upon pasting the frequency would be completely different and the Provider showed up as Globecast. Right clicking and changing the frequency and Provider to the correct values, 11426(=)27500 & Arqiva, took a couple of minutes and downloading back to the Humax, another ten seconds and there we have it; itv hd!!! Well, currently unavailable so the sound cannot be checked but banner shows a Dolby soundtrack so that is a good sign but it is there!!! Now, for something to watch! Thank you and everyone in the forum for their stories as they gave an all round perspective of anything and everything encountered in trying to watch itv hd!

Thank you

Thanks to everyone, especially Llew. Having been advised how to open the fdf file in this forum, all has gone well. I now receive the itv hd "This service is currently unavailable". As far as I can tell next Thursday at 9pm there is a simulcast of a new series "Harley Street" so we can see if fully operational then.

Running release 16 firmware and have set PMT PID to 8192 as suggested above, but still get the 10 second bump. Perhaps it's something to do with HDMI, has anybody tried component?

No difference using component. Any delay in picture appearing on HD is normally down to video processing time lag.

Harley Street received

Well tuned into 'Harley Street' and it all worked, but apart from the ads was that supposed to be HD?

Also noticed about three glitches in vision just towards the end of the programme, which of course took some 10 seconds for the sound to recover each time. Anyone else notice the same?
