My System: humax 2000
Question help with formula

Hello to all,new to this game.I have been reading the posts here about itv hd. I have updated my software to version 16 from the humax site,no problem.When I download the formula file, I cannot open it to load the channel list.Can someone say what the file type is and what program do I need to open it.I have the loaderfrom the humax site and channel list from this forum on my pc.

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.

Channel lists for the Humax use the .fdf (formula data file) extension. Don't try opening it, as it usually tries to open as an Adobe .pdf file. Just click on Open in Formula and find the .fdf channel file to display in Formula.

Llew,the formula file downloads as a zip file and when I unzip it to load the channel list it will not open.I am using windows XP if this makes a difference.Thanks for the fast reply,Paul

Llew,I got the file from the humax uk site._____home,support.download center.select hdci2000 download instructions and its the top formula file ,the one for europe.

Llew, Problem solved,the formula app on humax site appears to be faulty,I found a copy of the application on this forum and used that along with your chanell list above .took about 5 minutes in total.I now have the test card for ITV HD and will enjoy some futty next week. Thanks for all your help with this issue.
