My System: Humax HDCI-2000 Sony HD TV iMac
ITV HD help needed.

I have a Humax HDCI-2000 with a fixed dish, pointing to the Astra satellite, I believe, receiving lots of channels including BBC HD.
Can someone explain to me in simple terms, using plain English not technospeak, what I need to do to receive ITV HD.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi zanyjudy, welcome to the forum.
Only way to add ITVHD is by using a channel editor. Upload my channel list with that channel added to your Humax using the Formula channel editor. Procedure can be found here (Post#4) -

Humax hdci2000 HELP!!!!!!

Ignore the HDXSCI firmware update file if you already have the latest (last) firmware in your box.

I'm afraid the files you referenced are all Windoze files and therefore no use to me or my iMac. Also I have no idea what firmware release is on my Humax.

Firmware version - Menu > System Status.

There are several programs that can allow Win files to be used on Macs, but whether they will read the proprietary Humax file extensions, I've no idea, not being a Mac owner. Sorry.

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100

Well, most of the time there's nothing being transmitted so that could be the cause. Try when you know there's something in HD like footy. There's a match on at the moment.

What receiver? Is it the same as the OP's?

Hi Paul,

Yday night ITV HD was broadcasting M. United match..I solved the problem deleting the existing channel and re-scanning the frequency again.
The channel is under a number ( I think 56989) and not under ITV HD.

Can someone list the pids they are using for ITV HD also is the picture there all the time or only when they are transmitting their measly couple of hours a day.

From what I can gather they are only using a interactive transponder which some receivers can not receive on a normal scan.

An ITV HD logo appears when no programmes are being transmitted (most of the time).

If your box is not clearing this channel, reload with a list which has the working PIDs for it, using the Formula editor.

Have you got the PIDs correctly set in the boxes above the columns for ITV HD in Formula as in the attachment? Should be if you are using a channel list with ITV HD.
