Humax HDCI-5000 Uniformula

I think I might need "Uniformula" to get ITV HD working on my Humax HDCI-5000. I feel like the only person with this model in the world, let alone the UK. I bought it from a UK retailer, but there is no mention of it on the Humax UK website, nor any other Humax website AFAICS.
I found a link to http://www.humax-digital.de/products/Uniformula_v2.1.09.zip
but this does not recognise the UDF file from my box that I saved to a USB stick. It fails with F1_ERR_FORMULA_IDENTIFYER
In the manual it says:
"1. Download the Uniformula programme into
your PC (http://www.humaxdigital.com) and
install the Uniformula."
Very unhelpful when my model is unlisted!
Anyone else own an HDCI-5000?

It is mentioned on the UK site, but only the specs and a manual download. Seems to be a cut-down version of my HDCI200, with added LAN port. Can't see a USB port, is it on the front?

Suggest you give Humax tech a phone call and they may steer you in the right direction.Sorry i no longer have the number.

I must admit I hadn't looked for support on the UK site since I looked in April and didn't find it! I will have to give Humax a call. Seems ridiculously old-fashioned in this day and age. When I phoned Humax UK with pre-sales queries before I bought it, they told me it wasn't a UK model, and couldn't help!

I phoned Humax UK who told me it is not a UK model, therefore they cannot support it. I have emailed Humax Germany, I'll see how I get on

Humax Germany have denied it is a German model! So I am back to square one. I have called UK support and they told me to email a specific person, so some hope.

I am very dissapointed with Humax support. Clearly the UK tech support are only trained on the few models Humax officially supports here. Given this is not spelled out, one can only assume this is Freeview and Freesat models. I have bought 3 Humax products over the years, and although the hardware has been good value, there is very little after sales care.
Having been directed to the German support, and then they are palmed me off as well, it appears that the Humax HDCI-5000 is unsupported. The UK support have been dishonest in telling me the model is 1. Discontinued 2. Not legally for sale in the UK 3. Promising support via email and then ignoring the email.
Humax don't seem to have a UK subsidiary, apart from Humax Direct, who presumably have no control over the main Humax company. I wold like to write a letter to someone within Humax to make them aware of the terrible service they offer in the UK.
