There is sod all HD for Humax HDCI2000 on the Sky Satellite apart from BBC HD. All I can say is go to the Dragon Cam section to find out more. You need to get fixed dish astra/hotbird to start getting more HD stuff.

Hi

Speaking of Taquillas, while watching a movie in Taquillas, when you press the OPT+ button, are you able to choose the subtitles in spanish that most of the films have ?

I know of the existence of the subtitles in spanish because, with my old Nokia 9800S, I can choose subtitles in Taquillas, but with Humax HDCI 2000, the subtitles option is allways "grey", and we can't select it.

Does the same happen to you ?

Question Channel editor for Humax HDCI-2000

Found a program called Formula for Neo (ver.NH1.00), at satplaza.com w/ usage for the Humax 2000. Haven't tried it yet, just downloaded it. Has anyone tried/tested or encountered any problems?

Yes, I have uploaded the settings of my box rato with the program, seems very basic compared to something like setedit, just finding my way round it.

You get all the pids allocated to each channel number in the Channel Info box, but Provider Info just gives a list of your channel names, without their respective channel number (?).

I'm not going to download any changes made yet though - some people have experienced problems with their STB after re- uploading. (they believe the program is buggy ATM).

I can choose the Spanish subtitles, but get no audio. The apids don't seem to be available. I'll check out the pids on those channels using the Formula for Neo editor (if I can find my way around this program )

Sorry Shahid, meant to come back on that one.

It's not a question of being able to receive the channels in the UK. It just doesn't seem to take out the pids from the transport stream ( nor does my Triple Dragon) but am open to any explanation otherwise.

OK on my Echostar though. Stored as 'unnamed channels' on that, clears with the Dragon.

Hi

This is surely a dumb question, but HOW can we input a frequency ? When I choose a satellite to search a frequency, how can I choose a frequency different from those that are predefined for that channel ?

Thanks

There is a way. Do not use SMATV use Search Channel. When choosing the Transponder>User Define> (Here u have the option to put your own) Hope that makes sense.

Humax Press (OPT) For English on Englands WC2006 Matches

This post might be in the wrong place....any way here goes.

Those who are watching WC2006 on the Humax HDCI2000 via BBC HD and Premiere Sport HD. Just to let you know that you can get English Audio by pressing the (OPT) button. The English Audio stream will be on Englands games. John Motson was on Premiere HD Sport in the English Stream. So the ITV games will hopefuly will be with Clive Tildsley. So it sorts out all the ITV HD problem not going on the Sky Platform.

Its only because the brilliant Humax HDCI2000 takes the Dragon we have got this. Premier HD WC2006 picture more sharper than BBC HD caoverge in my opinion. Well done the Humax team.

I think so too, Shahid. I also switched between channels & found that the Prem. HD has a sharper/better picture than the BBC HD. It may be because of the feed that's transmitted to the Beeb, which in turn is being re-transmitted & there is a loss in quality.

Do you also need a viewing card as well, or will the Dragon CAM clear Premier HD WC2006 on its own?

If you need a card, which one are you using?

Thanks

Dear Bobnuts1 . Yes go to Dragon section for more info. Yes Dragon can be used with the HDCI2000 to decrypt the Premier Package. (at your own risk. nothing is guarnteed!!)
