My Celebro Card is version 1.1 . Yes toecutters is a URL which hosts keys, tools etc. I will upload the .fdf file here as its only a channel file which holds the vids, pid for the Premiere PPV Direct channels.

Humax HDCI2000 . The .fdf file to get Premiere Direck Channels

Here is the .fdf file which you need to upload to your box using The Official Humax Sat Editor named 'Formula NH'

To get the .fdf file

www.fileden.com/files/29802/HDCI2000final.rar
NOTE: The above link is not a key or hack code. Its just a file to get the Premier Direckt Channels stored in the Humax HDCI 2000.
Right Click Save as

Do a System Restore and Scan Astra 1 Only
Here are full instructions on what do .
Set The Humax HDCI2000 on Astra 1. Switch of the HumaxHDCI2000 at the back.
Connect a null modem cable betwen serial port PC and serial port of the Humax HDCI2000.
Start the software "formula for NEO ver NH1.00" then load channellist HDCI2000final.
click on "Download to STB" and switch on Humax HDCI2000 at the back.

Be Paintent, wait a few seconds. Till is starts loading the file to the Humax HDCI 2000

Now you are ready to scan the other satellites (if you have them)

Now you should have the additional Premier Direckt Channels in the Humax HDCI2000. If you had a Celebro Card working prior to Premier Package, then it will clear these Premiere direct Channels too. Hope that clears things up.

If you are wondering what is Celebro Card. go here.

Thank Shahid for the file & the excellent info on Prem. Direckt channels. Might as well save up & get that Cerebro card after all !

Did you try another version or update of Pred. 3.43 on your T-Rex to see if it works with you official cards?

No I have not tried the other versions of Predator to see if it works with Officail Cards. Once the WC2006 is over then will.

Shahid/Rato,

I have downloaded the file to the Humax but no go. It appears that because I am only using Diseq 1.0 and not 1.3 as Shahid has in his files it wont let me tune in those channels. Is there any way to change the Diseq mode for the satelites? That option appears grayed out

Rato / Shahid

I live at Porto, Portugal and a litle out of footprint but I can find some Direkt Channels of Primi***, only with Final channel list above.
I tried to set this List with Disecq and 4 LNBs but doesn´t work.

I think that channel list only hallow Motor settings like Shahid has.

Can we change that to Diseqc ?
Or can I search Direkt Channels of Primi*** on my settings with Diseqc. ?

Nautivago,

You are right. Like in my post he has it setup for motor and if you have strictly LNB diseq switching you are screwed .

I have copied and pasted from Shahids list but there seems to be a problem/bug with the software that it gets the transponders wrong. My findings with that were once you do the copy paste from one list to another and load it into the 2000 while trying to watch Premiere, it comes up as a shopping channel etc...

Hopefully they will work the bugs out. Another way is to add them manually. I haven't tried that yet. Goodluck.

I had noticed the differences in the blacks between the HDMI and component outputs but thought it was my TV. Anyhow a good read for anyone interested in aquiring a Hummy HDCI-2000. I bought one and am very impressed.

Sorry guy's but I can't test my Humax these past few days as I''m out of town for the moment.

Since I also use the DiSEqC x 4 LNB setting's, for sure mine will suffer from the same effect. Only trying the way jagost02 said(adding manually), could work.

The difference is:

HDMI = Digital
Component = Analogue

Yes Good2Talk, my comments are regarding the black levels of the hummy not being upto par with that of other systems. As far as a better option for blacks on the hummy is the component output. Trust me you cant tell the difference between Component (analog) and HDMI (digital) output as far as picture quality. Other than the noticeable differances of the black levels, which are noticeable during dark scenes. Humax could have done something about this. Maybe a firmware can help correct this somewhat.

Talking Back in black

I've also noted that in the more darker scenes, jagost02. For sure an update can correct it, and Humax is a par on that problem since it was reported by the early owner's of the Humax HDCI-2000 which reported also the BBC HD glitch.

I think the HDMI cable you are using is not a quality one. HDMI supposed to be far better than the component.

Good2talk,

I recommend you do a little reading. The HDMI cable I am using is not the one that came with the receiver. The one that comes with the receiver is a low quality cable. Alot of users have complained about it. The Cable I am using is a high quality QED cable. If you know your cables, you will know that QED is not your regular cable and that this is definately not the problem.

Did you read the article that you posted? It clearly states "...working out why the signal from the Humax's HDMI output lacks the depth of blacks on the composite output...". All I am doing is agreeing with the article, that the component output looks very good compared to the HDMI. Digital does not always mean better. Any AV enthusiast knows this. Humax more than likely will publish a firmware to fix the problem.

I have a Humax HDCI-2000 and I am very happy with it. Even with the blacks issue. Meaning I still have my TVs HDMI input available for the BLU-RAY DVD Recorder that should be here any day!

Regards,
Jagost02

Sorry, jagost02

I missed to read it. I dont have a Humax HDCI-2000 yet. I am waiting for the price to come down or alternatively looking for an used one available somewhere. So far I am just reading all the bits and pieces of info available online. I am very much interested in seeing the new toy.

Good2talk,

Trust me you will be impressed with, and find the HDCI-2000 a good investment even at the current prices. Dont forget to get a Dragon/T-rex for the extra bonuses . When I was looking up info on the Humax I coudn't find enough pictures of it. Once I get a chance I'll upload some.

Yes, Trex or Dragon works fine in the Humax 2000.

A Cerebro card has enabled you to clear Pr*emier until a day or so ago, but I think a new update for the card is needed.

I shouldn't have bought this Humax HDCI-2000

After reading so much about Humax HDCI-2000, I bought it but completely disappointed with its performance.

I was using a Samsung A300W with component cable that gave me excellent picture quality (all SD channels were so clear near enough to HD channles). The Humax is nowhere near to that quality. The only benefit I am having from Humax is I can watch BBC HD. Otherwise it is a cr*p receiver. I have decided to go back to Samsung A300W becuase those SD channels are more important to me than just the BBC HD channel.

What I could not understand also:

There is channel called Cee(i)TV on Hotbird 11727V 27500 3/4 that is free to air. The Humax can't view the picture for some reason it plays just the audio only where I tried with Technomate, Samsung & Echostar they all clear Video & Audio.

I believe the Humax has a bug in the new software. Any body else having similar problem.

One more thing to mention:

Buying an expensive HDMI cable for this Humax is as good as binning your money. The image will be much worst than Component cables.

Is it worth complaining all these to the manufacturer? If yes, how?

Thanks to all reading my message and suggesting to overcome the hassles I have.
