there are no adult channels on insat4a.as for tuning and adding channels, sats, etc you are stuck for the time being as the software restrict these functions.May be in future.

I haven't tried any of the CAMs as they are not available easily. Satellite feeds depends on your dish size etc.,

Though they have mentioned in their website www.spacelinkindia.com that they have 107 (see the figure there) dealers Nation wide, they only sell from their corporate office at Delhi as I got a mail from them and they donot have dealers at Maharastra. ... See the mail below ....

Hi Friends

Me also want a DVB-S PCI card from technisat (Skystar 2 DVB-S PCI card New Version v2.6D with USB IR Receiver) which is approx $55 USD including VAT for non-European residents offered by the best seller in this category worldwide www.dvbshop.net

But the problem is the postal cost is tooooooooooooo high for us, even 2/3 times the cost of the card !!!

If you know any shop in India for the same card plz share the details here.

Hi dont go for Eurostar as myself and omakr are suffering as there is no software upgrades for the same.MCBS may be a good choice.

rgds,
It depends on your buget of how much you can spend on this thing. If you are intrested in DTH then go for TATASky or Dish tv or FTA DD DTH. For that the TATASKY or Dish TV would give you the complete set. Not much in KU band except these dth services. If you are going for C band then buy atleast a 6 feet dish for receiving satellites with Indian footprint or a minimum of 12 feet for out of foot print receptions.

Smile StarSat SR-X550D

As far as new software updates are considered, StarSat SR-X550D is very good. New updates are available every fornight. You can download new software from http://www.satdw.com.

550D and its clones are available in north east part of india at around Rs 4500/-.

It opens Dream TV on AGILA 2 and B4U movies on PAS 7/10. So Enjoy FREE

Hi Mr BharatPremi

Thank you for ur words.
But CAN the ApnaDTH/MCBS products like DVB-S PCI card and the Ku-band dish will be same as Skystar/Twinhan/TechnoTrend and SpacelinkIndia respectively ?

With their pkg they are giving 0.6/0.7 dB LNBF, rather you can get 0.2/0.3 dB LNBFs from market easily for better picture quality.

Thay are just good for moeny and for basic TV viewing experience, not for BEST quality as per the trend, atleast I hope so.

Thanx
