how would u rate beetel sd96 receiver for beginners?

hi guys,

Need info on beetel sd96 receiver. How would you rate it. It is costing rs 1500/- Is it okay for begineers and novice? If not can you people tell some other receiver? I think rs 3000 is a good budget for begineers. What do u say guys?

i think SD 98 is better than SD 96 ( with EPG,
& a lot of features)
