Need a realighment...Manchester, what sort of price?

Hi guys, not been on for a while, as my dish got blew out of allignment and never bothered getting it sorted.

Now I am after a dreambox set up.

Anyway , to cut a long story short my 1m motorised dish has blew about and is almost upside down.

Do you think I would need to replace the motor?
What sort of price am I looking at for a realignment?
I know a couple of sky installers, would they have the know how to do it right?

I am in manchester if anyone is looking at giving me a quote of some sort.

Thanks for looking

My System: Technomate TM1000D Receiver. Stab H-H90 motorised Triax TD110 dish 42E to 30W. Inverto Silvertech 0.2 LNBF. Fortec.star 90cm fixed on 26E.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox

Hi,
It sounds like something is broken for it to be nearly upside down. A photo would help to clarify

You could always have a go at fixing it yourself, there is plenty of help on here if you need it.

If you'd rather use an installer post back, and one of the mods will move this thread to the installer wanted section.

Where is dish situated, how accessible is it , i.e. how high etc.
Some S*y installers are more knowledgeable than others - it would cost nothing to ask em if they could do a motorised (multisat) system and how much...you never know your luck!

What size ladder needed to reach it - and do you have one?

(I guess you cant reach dish from window)

- and roughly where in M/c are you - just in case a forum member is near enough to lend a hand - you never know!

I wouldn't ask any of those knowledgeable $yK installers then, they don't like working any higher than off a step ladder
