My System: Novice, researching options |
I have purchased a Cuberevo HD twin tuner box and a Wavefield dual reflector Gregorian dish (55cm, with 40 degree range bracket) with 4 0.1db quad LNBs and 4 diseqcs, the intention being to have a fixed dish system with access to 4 separate satellites (Astra 2, Astra 1, Hotbird and Intelsat W1). (I need the 4 diseqcs because ultimately I might have two twin tuners say). Could someone in Edinburgh be willing to come and have a look and give me a quote for installation please. I have all the coax cables and have loft access to permit internal fix of diseqcs and a take down of a single coax cable to a wall point. Thank you. Andy Brechin

Surely you need more cables going down to the twin tuner receiver/receivers ?

My System: Novice, researching options | Hi, Because I am about to build an extension where I will locate another two boxes, I'll end up with one twin tuner recorder (the Cuberevo) with two cables in, another twin tuner recorder with limited functionality (one cable in) and a third box receiver only (one cable in). Where I'm getting the cable to just now will end up being one of the single cable positions. You are right though, I could just draw two cables down anyway and at least get the full function of the Cuberevo in the short term as well.

My System: Novice, researching options | Hi, thanks, but I just got the job done last weekend, it hasn't gone 100% though but the installer is coming back to tidy up, what's your company name or are you an individual, it would be good to have all contact details just in case or for future reference. Thanks for replying.
