O.A.P Needs some help. Monmouthshire/forest of dean Area

Hi all, new here.
Try to keep this short as i can. Dad was into his Satellite stuff. He has since passed away, The satellite has some problems now. (System) has 2 dish's 1 motor dish for german and so on. other is sky dish. Also has a splitter to put it to tv's around the house plus other box's not sure what does what. Reason for some of the faults she pulled the cables out. Ive got the motor dish working, cant seem to get sky working. Also not sure how they all link up together.
So thought ide ask to see if there are any local members on here, that know there way around satellite systems. (she Lives in the wye valley)
