Solo Remote Control Codes for Colour Buttons

Hi,

I just purchased a Solo and hooked it up to my DM800 satellite box. However the Red, Yellow, Green, Blue buttons do not function on the Virtual RC, has anyone found an easy way to program the Custom20 - Custom25 buttons to provide the colour button functions?

To answer (partly) my own post, yes you can add remote control "favourites" to the channel listings and give the Red, Yellow, Green & Blue function controls to each of the favourites. But only if you are using the Europe version of Sling Player 1.5.x.x.

The USA and Canada version 2.0.2.500 software does not allow for remote control short cuts to be entered in to the Favourites buttons. (Note: if you are in Europe you can download the USA version of Sling Player, which has online favourites stored in your SlingMedia personal account so they are available on any number of PC's that you choose to install SlingPlayer software on) then you can either google for it or go to the USA website.

However after becoming more familiar with the SlingBox features this is now not so important for me to be able to control my channel selection.

I did contact SlingMedia and askled them about the Remote and updates, but was advised that they were aware of certain limitations in my model of virtual remote but could not say when it would be fixed in as "future release" of Sling Player software......
