How to start with cam,s and card programing

I wish to start,as a hobby,with programming Fun Cards,matrix cams/joker cams ect.
Is there any info,such as a book/on line info which explains how to start,what
equipment and step by step instruction.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

No book as such Dave, but a good starting point for the basics is www.duwgati.com there are then a few Howtos in our special section. Good places to start.
