DigitAlb problem

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the signal from Digitalb in the north of the uk or northern ireland...

Last season i was able to get it...but put my dish up again last week...and the most i can get is 62% strength....but i can't get any quality at all...

This is really starting to wind me up..

Is anyone having similar difficulties with the signal attenuation on digitalb....

I feel my seasons football slowly drifting away!

Depending on your dish size and general location you shouldn't have a problem.
Try tuning to BBC World 11325 H 24500 and use that to locate 1W.

Digitalb is on 16e Mickha

What size dish do you have?

At least an 80cm, possibly a 1m is needed.

Thanks Robbo71,
I read it as Digi TV
I blame it on lack of sleep !!!!!!!
DigitAlb is always an awkward satellite to tune in and has never been very strong.

Im using a 1 metre dish so i should be getting it....it is a bugger to find usually....but i havent had one snip of signal on the quality gauge in 3 days fiddling...

I was actually hoping they had changed the transponder they were using, and retired the old ones..which would explain the 0% quality...but it doesnt look as if they have done that...

anyone know how long it takes to get a digitalb card renewed and working....looks like i may miss the start of the season!

BOOOOOOOOOO!

Try tuning in to 11283 H 27500 or 11513 V 29950, there are some FTA channels which are reasonable strength.
There are some rumours circulating that DigitAlb have lost the rights to some football games, Champions League games have been mentioned, to another Albanian provider.
Hopefully these are just rumours.

I used to pick up ***** TV (11957H ,2821 2/3) on my zone 1 minidish, so you should be able to find that easily on a 1m.

I think it is possible to get the card renewed and working in a couple of days usually, but I think they are taking a little longer at the moment, due to lots of people wanting them at the same time.

There are also rumours that they have sold the rights to some EPL games, but all these are just rumours at present.

My System: Technomate TM6900 HD Receiver, 85cm Gilbertini dish with Technomate TM2200 motor, Diablo Light and T Rex 4.6 cams.

Hi Ciaran, getting around 75% picture quality here in Belfast using an 85cm dish for the Supersport channels on 16E. If you are using a 1m dish and not getting it, there must be something wrong. Worth checking your setup!

im in the centre of belfast myself...so if you're getting it then the logical conclusion is that the LNB has gone...

Glad you got it sorted but a shame you did not tell us which schoolboy error as us schoolboys need to know to avoid making the same mistake in the future.
