Ah, Dorset. Why not get a BSkyB dish ?

The only items listed in your profile is a Sky dish and digibox, what equipment have you been using to view Showtime?

If you use the forums search option, at the top of the page, and search for showtime, and then nilesat, you will find lots of threads covering this subject which you might find helpful.
For football, next season, there are quite a number of foreign packages that will cover quite a few games, including Sky Germany, formerly Premiere, Sky Italy and Canal Digital, all viewable on a reasonably sized dish, but unfortunately as we're outside their country subscriptions will be expensive.
You could try another route by using card sharing, again try the search option.

on my friends showtime sub i watched all the missing tottenham games on there and thats the main reason sky isnt that great to me cos they still lack the live 3pm games.

You probably dont want to hear this bu its not Skys fault Blame the FA/Prem league.. 3pms are banned from being shown to protect the attendances (especially at lower league games)
