Anyone seeing a pattern here?

  • Spain go out. Inaki Saez goes.
  • Germany go out. Rudi Voeller goes.
  • Italy go out. Giovanni Trapattoni goes.
  • France go out. Jacques Santini goes.
  • England go out. Sven-Goran Erikson blames the penalty spot, the referee, the colour of the corner flags, the bloke in Seat 2543 Row BF Block G for rustling a sweet wrapper too loudly at the critical moment, Tord Grips' wife for packing egg mayo sandwiches instead of pilchard and tomato spread......

So if the pattern holds, the Swedish coach will either go or make excuses. Any bids on what it'll be?
