Red face Art Sport Viewing Card 6/12month

Hello all,
I am toying with the idea of getting an ART SPORT Football card. has
any one got one. Is it worth the money, or are there any general comments
on the content that the channels provide? Cheers for any advice.
JM

Hi again,
Got my card and cam this morning, Saturday. Ordered both on Thurs, am. CAM was from ECS In Widmer End, Bucks
only 55 pounds plus 3.80 pounds next day delivery. Was watching Spurs v
Liverpool just after midday, well pleased.

I had a card last year, 2 games at 3pm.

This year there will be at least 2 games at 3pm on ART sports, normally 3.

HOWEVER, No one seems to know whether the channels on Hotbird will show EPL, or whether they will be only on Nilesat.

Also 4 NFL games on Sunday nights, plenty of French and German footy

Check out the sponsors of this site.

I don't personally like to recommend dealers, but I know a lot of folks also go to waferworld.co.uk.

Getting mine from Pentacard.co,uk. and yes you will need Viaccess 2 cam

Sorry I ask I stupid question . I just need to know why is there not a 12month year prepaid ART card for the footie for hotbird (viacess). Is it because they will end services on 13 hotbird later in the year?? Looking forward to to your helpful answer.

There are still rumours about ART leaving Hotbird, but AFAIK that's all they are at the moment. Still, it might be prudent to go for a three month card...

I think people are reading more into the loss of English commentary than they should...

Well, I think you're right. They must have a contract, so what's it got to do with Sly or anyone else? Why would they stop? Also, I don't understand the technical difficulties they're having with the English commentary, unless Rupert is fiddling with the cabling!

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

It could well have something to do with Sky, if it is true. I could see Sky putting pressure on the Premiership to ensure that the matches are not easy to watch using non-Sky subscriptions and turning off the English commentary would make it less attractive, moving it all to 7W would be even better for them.

Yes, I agree it would be to their advantage. Maybe there's some money changing hands...

A defender of the Remote Control Brigade, Sir R can flick channels faster than a Robben dive

i know alot of pub landlords are being threatened with £15,000 fines for showing matches in pubs that are not from a SKY package... which is £200 per month from SKY without ppv matches

so they are obviously putting pressure on people.... maybe ruperts pushing ART too???

also i got my card from
h**p://www.smartcardsdirect.co.uk/page3.htm

£69 for 6 months

If you have a paid pub subscription then a pint glass shows up in the right hand corner of the screen.

Just part of the power they have with tied card receiver packages - they know if a subscription is private or a pub!!

Watch out they're checking up all over the country!!!
