My System: Sky HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

Hello Pothead13, yes it is a great forum thanks. So you aren't having a motorised dish? This can limit your ability to receive premiership football which most ppl in the UK seem to want. If you can align your dish to the Hotbird satellites then you may (with the right software on your cam) receive TPS which should be showing premiership. Anyway, once you are set up let us know and we can look at the next stage.

PS One of the favourite web sites for indicating where football is being shown can be found via this link. http://knplogic.com/sport/index.html

Take a look here. Many of these channels are compromised -

My System: Sky Digibox, Technomate 5500, Humax CR-5510 and Comag Porty 2 Dragon CAM 45/80cm mesh dishes, 35cm solid dish, Triax TD110
Tps

It is however, worth bearing in mind that TPS may change from the hacked Viaccess 2.4 to Viaccess 2.5, which is not yet hacked, in the near future.

My System: Starsat SR-X200CI and 80cm dish (0.3db LNB) on Hispasat 30w

Hi All,

I too am a newbie, and I would like to know, what is the best satellite I can get for channels that are hacked? I am not looking for porn ones, just sport, and other general channels. I am in the UK and have an 80cm dish

Also, what is the best satellite to go for, for FTA channels of any kind? (no porn)

Fta its a tossup between 13E and 19E. For variety of countries 13E wins hands down. of course - buy a monobloc and you can have both if the receiver supports disecq switching.

For compromised stuff, either 30W or 13E. Doesnt really matter as most of the compromised providers will be going secure in the not too distant future....
