Cricket?

Anyone know if you can pick up cricket other than by subscribing to Mr Murdoch's favourite company?

I'll look around for you Stephen. Obviously Channel 4 in the UK summer but now? Not so sure it's free anywhere.

Unfortunately Sky does have a monopoly on many channels for the UK, changing for a motorised (only) will mean giving up on some programme content.

Yes, you're right. However, I have managed (I think) to persuade the rest of the family that we need to keep SKY as well.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Wise move Stephen, like most here, I also resent the amount I pay, but there are channels available which I cannot find anywhere else, it's a tough life being a Sci-Fi lover.

Looks as though we have to go through the whole Zimbabwe scenario again. Should we/shouldn't we go. If we don't play it will cost £millions apparently in compensation. I cannot understand why we keep arranging these tours and then spending all the time in the lead up to them agonising over it.

Well I think that this is where we need to make the stand, we either believe that we have a human rights point or not. If we do, then we pull out, whatever the consequences.

should we have made the tour plans in the first place....No. IMHO.
