Yep, it's back!

Open from today for entry, and on a new site, F1 SupaLiga returns! If you didn't take part last year, don't worry, everyone who is a member of Satellites.co.uk is welcome to join .

To join, PM me or anyone else who has joined so far for the league password, and then go to the league website at:

http://www.purefantasyf1.net/MyPFF1.asp?MYD=149&LA=En

Register, set-up a team, and then go to 'My Teams' on the left, click on 'Join a league' next to your team name, then on the following page look in the 'Individual private league' drop-down menu for the league's name - 'Satellites.co.uk F1 SupaLiga 2007, click on the league name, then input the password that we've given you.

Also, remember to post on this thread who your team is once you've joined.

Also, there's a new logo for the league, hope you like it:

(It's also attached)

Right, I hope that's everything. I'll update you on any developments (as always) so I hope you join and enjoy.

Sent you and Oily the password.

Sorry about that, balls up on my part. So, why did you call your team Tom34? It's too much, my small brain can't take it !!! Are you and Tom34 different people or what, i'm very confused?!

Of course, the irony of it all is that Tom34 didn't have a team for last year (although your welcome to join now Tom ), but does have a team for the Premiership FL.

Funny, that did come to my head when I was writing that reply, as they say great minds...

Anyway, just been looking on YouTube for vids of 2007 cars, and there's loads of testing vids from Valencia, Maranello etc and car launches, but I thought this took the biscuit - BMW testing... on ICE, viddy:

Sorted thanks Salty have to create a team before you can join a league

If I'm confused, your database must be on drugs mate...... Tom34 is not never will be anything to do with me and I have never entered this thing before, I tried for the test match but it never ran here's me, I intended staying away from these fantasy to keep the stress levels down, hell I'm exhausted before the season kicks off and 80 points will never get a good team for a good driver you'd have to have a car with no wheels or engine

Yeah, they are wrong, don't know how that happened, oh well shit happens .

As for the slim budget - we're all in the same boat having to pick the best team possible, it's to encourage us to really think about who is in our team, and as the season goes on we get more on our budget after every race, thus enabling us to buy better drivers. In other words, it's to stop anyone from getting too far ahead of everyone else at the start, and tests our knowledge instead of just picking who we think is going to be the best driver.

Talking Ah

OK thanks for the explanation!

I suppose that is quite logical really so really the first race will decide how much you have to spend before the second race and so on. So if you forget to alter things you will fall way behind.

Topper and me, that's 2 different people. :-)

My Team name last year was Tom 34 and I signed up as Thomas Ludwig (which happens to be my name).
So to make it easier this year I signed up as Tom34 and my team is also named Tom34....

Are we having a practice league again?

Thanks for clearing up, I honestly I don't know how that mistake occured

Well I suppose not, since bronking hasn't been on here for a long time, and in any case qualifying is incorporated into the new SupaLiga points system. Still, I've been thinking of doing a European Cup and Asia/Americas Cup using the points we gain from the relevant races, to split the season up a bit and make it more interesting. I might even do a knockout cup tournament, but we'll see about that later.

No, there is no limit to how many people can take part, but there is a one team per person limit (for obvious reasons I made that a rule).

Nice to see the main man Chris has joined, and thanks Ana for advertising the league on your signature I really appreciate that. Hopefully we can get more than our total of 17 last year.

Major news - The guy running the website which hosts our league (Pure Fantasy F1), Maverick, has redesigned our league website:

http://www.purefantasyf1.net/MyPFF1s...?MYD=149&LA=En

You have to admit, if a league website could in anyway be drop-dead gorgeous, that is ddg

I'll ask Ricards to post some info about it in the Porto section - there must be some petrol heads in Portugal.
