Surely they would only take on sat engineers, or would they employ some one with basic sat knowledge, with no sat qualifications?

It would be a good foot in the door for me.

They are looking for engineers with various levels of knowledge and experience - they also offer training on the systems.

It is a fixed term contract that is being offered. whether the contract can be extended and become a maintenance contract its current unknown (nothing has been signed). They do however allow you to apply for any other internal role within the company that you may be interested in. ITs a good way to get your foot in the door.

If you are interested call 07824 590247

I have a story about VSAT technicians
once they came to Athens from Telenor to install a VSAT in the office of Telenor (which is now closed),they left because of a lack of business.

The technician came equipped with the expensive HP spectrum analyser but could not find the Intelsat satellite at 1 west even after 3 hours in the tarace.
I got it in 5 minutes in front of his boss making him embarrassed.
l also service VSAT in Greece because it is expensive to bring tecnicians from abroad. It is a piece of cake.

I have an interview on Monday in Bristol and have been in touch with alexander mann solutions, who gave me the interview. Do you know if these ppl who have already been for an interview and got the "thanks but no thanks" letter live in the south west?

i can't imagine that there simply isn't any job's, possibly just not in the areas these ppl live?!
