Well I have to say the fact that you have not filled out details of what stb you have combined with the fact that you have posted in a thread about the UFS 910 HD...... means I could perhaps guess what your question is about but I should not have to guess nor should other members. Either post full details concerning your question or fill in your profile information or preferably both

Switch your Kathrein with the HDD connected through one of the three USB ports either front or the rear.
Go to menu > Service menu > USB Device management and select "Formatting" option.
Once Kathrein formats your HDD it is ready to record/playback.....simple as that.

Ordered a black, but ended up with a silver one as they had run out of stock in black. Expect it to be delivered in the next day or so.

Figured that if I had any problems with the receiver I could send it back easier using a UK supplier.
how ya getting on i still havent bought one yet

My System: Hispasat+Motor

This seems tp be a good receiver with nice suport. I am thinking to buy an HDTV receiver and this could be a good choice. What I am afraid is that I have never used Linux and everything seems to need to be instaled, a simple normal function like diseqc you need a plugin...

So tell me, is this a difficult receiver to work with?

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

You will need to play with the settings to receive ITV HD, see the Freesat forum, there are a few posts with settings required, but you'll have to adapt them for the Kathrein.

My System: 1,25 Fibostop Jäger Smr 1224 Dual Axsis Echostar Dvr 7000 Monterey 140 Tagra 2,20 M Fullsize Dish Echostar 2,40m Mesch for cband!

Hallo Good Evening!
i have now the ufs 910 since to weaks!
the newer 1 watt version,i wondering, why there 2 difrent image types avalible, for 14 watt and one watt power suply?
Aaf 1,4 image i have sususesfluly installed!

,but be carefull dont make now downgrade to the orginal soft back, otherwise your kathrein maybe not reboot then,on difrent boards i read there is a emergeny image avalible, first you load this, and after that, you can go back to the orginal soft without any problems!

trying to reveive cband channels with ufs 910 failed, this receiver, does not acept, changing the lof, from universal standarts!

now,i try to find a way,to conect,my kathrein ufs 910,with my dreambox 500 master reveiver, with ccam 2.08,and the kathrein slave reveiver, but at the moment i dont know, what compatible cams are avalibel for ufs 910 to realize this?

picture qulaity is much better, then on my homecast!

1w conax channels, are curencly only supported by oficial firmware 1,5m,on aaf 1,4,you have strange interruptions, since the have changed something little bit on the stream specification, topfield and kathrein reveivers, need a upgrade!

soon i hope aaf 1,5 Image comes out,the rubox image i never tested, maybe its to old and,the dangerous of faulty receiver, during flashing is to high!

My System: 1.2M & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.5m Gibertini on a Jaeger 1224 H-H motor. Dreambox 7025 200gb HD, Vbox-II. SS2 Card.

I am very interested in buying this rx`er, but put off with no card reader.

Would it run CCcam and read the cards through a dragon or diablo cam?
