Help me, how to patch my Technomate TM-5300+USB, is it best with the keys or through the usb. (how to do it both ways! Please!). If i want to patch thruough usb, is there any way to back up the patch I already have, before I try a new patch. thank you for all your help

My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT | Patching can be done with a null-modem cable or USB flash drive. I have not got a USB port but apparently the USB method is much easier. You may be able to transfer your current software to the USB drive, I don't know. But if not, just make a note of what version you have and download it from the internet. Not sure, what you mean by patching with keys, there is no such method.
