where is how -to section?

This is naughty I know! So if you want to get the cane out-go ahead!!
I am looking for the beginners' section on patching, softkeys-how to section,etc. Am a complete beginner and I am going round in circles...Is there a section on the above for Dummies like myself? Most grateful if you could reply:tick me off if you like but please show me directions to site. Thank you.

Well that's the Dreambox Idiot guide, but we don't have a general idiot guide/How to for keys and softcam, as it is too big a subject. What are you interested in doing?
