Hi, I am new to the Satellite hobby but wass wondering if you can use a PC with software attached to a TM6900 to scan for keys as opposed to waiting for patches or softcams to be released If you can't do this but can with another receiver then please let me know Thanks | ||

| If you want to go ahead with this, then a cheap PCI DVB-S card might be better than the STB that you mentioned. I think that this was easy in the past with encryptions like Viaccess 1 or Irdeto 1, but not with the newer versions. Start the fun by looking for keys that are still in Viaccess 1. This should be easy. | ||
