can someone give an overview of key encryption

i have a dreambox, and i'm trying to learn more about what encryption methods are used

there is nagravision 1 ,2,3 seca 1,2 viaccess ,biss etc,specifically I am looking to find out the following

what encrytion methods can i find keys for , what won't i find keys for?

do different cams work better for different encryption types?

i'm trying to learn more of this stuff, but can't find what i'm looking for with google

can someone give me some advice?

download the satan keybundle, look inside the bundle and open $oftCam.key with a text editor/viewer. You'll start getting an idea of whats open and whats not from there.

Forget about anything encrypted in NDS,
