My System: Dreambox 5620, Dreambox 500Si, with universal 3 LNB's and 2X 80cm dish.
Key10?

In the softcam file, of my Dreambox, i have key00, key01 and key10. I've seen, somewere, that is the verifying key. I've printed a keylist, from a website that i can't remember and is not printed on the paper, and there it was. And it was the only site that i've seen, on it.
Can anyone explain me what is it, what it's function, and do i need to update it?

It is a verifier key for the other two keys that relates back to the MECM (master entitlement control message) data and you are better off if you dont use it,just use the 00 and 01 keys. It can confuse your softcam program in some instances.

But i've updated the verifying key, of my DB, and the softcam software works fine.
I will explain my interest in this matter:
The service provider has, beside the normal channels, some encoded channels (movie, sports, video-on-demand, etc.). One of these days, they were going to broadcast a football match, and hours earlier they block the channel. All of my friends were unable to see it, but i could.
Conclusion: I had a full house!!!!
Seriously, i think it has to do with the verifying key. Or do you think they haven't one updated one of the keys?
What do you think?
If anyone has something to say, don't be a stranger!
