Information requested on How to

I have a Kaon 570 which is a fairly basic receiver, it does not have any card or cam slots. However it does have the luxury of being able to input codes using the RC. But what I would like to know is when someone posts keys anywhere, they list one set of numbers, as such. Exp ************* and so on from 1-8 then Mod ************* " " " " " Can someone tell me in a little more detail what these mean please. I know how to access the menu to input codes, but the Exp and Mod is confusing me. When I get into the menu I press the Add key, then put in the numbers, then press Load Default, then OK, but why the two sets of numbers. Any help with this would be very much appreciated as I have a big L on my back, thank you. PS hope I have posted this in right place.
