My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I will leave the link in your post AlexAl, but be aware that it would have been more courteous to ask permission before publicising your own links page, particularly with your first post.

I think that is pretty common on many of the upload sites Dave, we get a little spoiled by the likes of Phill's Satdudez and Toes, as they have some good trusted contributors.

Just got to make sure that you beware when downloading anything from some of these sites.

PS. I have no problems with diallers, I don't have a modem.

I was advised that dialers could still be a problem on an adsl driven PC as the software can still attempt to do its job in the background, causing corruption and general slowdown. And of course the usual trouble of any other trojans that may be present

Is there a specific dialer detection pece of software around ?

Always be aware.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

Haven't seen one CH, but I will only download ZIP files normally, so I can inspect them first to see if there is an EXE file in the ZIP.
