Am I missing something here or what ?

All this talk about putting in keys via remote is all very well.
I can get the latest keys, input them via my remote and not a jot of
difference. If I couldn't watch the channel before, I can't watch it after.
I have a GBSat 2CI 0, with Dragon Pred 2.3.
I've no trouble putting in the keys, but it doesn't make a jot of difference.
Can't see AB*at, S*y italia or any other thing I put the key in for.
Doesn't matter which encryption system it's for, it doesn't work.
As a newbie, am I missing something here or what ?

Have you checked the dates for the keys S*Y Italia hasn't been available for about a month and most of the other change keys often.

That said you should still get A*Sat - check you have the latest keys.

May seem obvious as you say you're a newbie, but what satellite are you pointing at? You're allowed to say 'hotbird, of course!'

yeah, you guessed right.
I've got a monoblock pointing at Hotbird + Astra.
It's really disheartening, you sit there putting all these numbers in great anticipation, then nothing.
Anyway, it's good to know that at least someone takes an interest.
I've just been to the Romanian site to double check the keys again, but no, they're the same as I input.

M8 you are not alone here, I am sure many of us been there, anyway I have same issue with my hardware, I got MR 1.08 and Topfiled 5000, I entered all those keys and believe me I did not leave any stone unturned to get those latest keys but that did not help the matter either. Anyway stay in touch and if either of gets anywhere we ought to update each other.

Cheers
