My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Does it have an embedded CAM and if it does, what is it?

My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

What Rolf is asking you is, does your receiver have a slot in it which functions as a cam?

Some slots are for cards, and some are for cams.

If you have a card slot, you may be ok.

If you have a cam slot you will need a cam, like MR, MM, or Dragon.

Don't mind my spelling
