How can you tell what channels a particular 6in1 hex file
decodes?... I uploaded the 6in1 hex file into my Funcard3
but I'm not sure how to test it if I dont know what channels
I should be testing them in...

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

It will depend a lot on which satellite/satellites you are able to see.

But anything listed in Lyngsat as being:

Irdeto
Seca/Mediaguard
Nagravision
Betacrypt
Viaccess
TPS

None of the version 2s

Just go to www.lyngsat.com, pick your satellite and look at the packages that are encrypted with the above.

Just one quick question... I think my CAM only supports Irdeto, Seca, Nagravision, Viaccess... and in the past I used to use the 4in1 hex files... will the 6in1 hex files still work with the CAM... i.e. the CAM will only use the ones it needs and ignore the other two?

The 4 in 1 and 6 in 1 are basically the same, two of the encryptions TPS and Betacrypt, are sub encryptions of the main four.

I guess this does not include Viaccess 2 and Seca 2. Correct?
