XXL (or 'ZIK) channel has gone on hotbird as of thursday 29th of June. Does anybody know if they started using the same system as TPS?

ZIK appears to be free still

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

ZIK is a music channel (admittedly not great music)

Find a patch for your receiver.

update it regularly (probably daily)

point a whacking great dish at 13E (8-12 feet should do nicely in Pakistan)

Does the ZIK/XXL still work at all

Im not the most int. of people, but where do I reactivate the ZIK on hotbird the transp. used to be Hotbird TPS 11681 h 27500.

The TP is still active but can't locate !

But what is the channel name after the channel seach and how do I reactivate ?

I have a customer who uses this and have a card to view this. But to fix I need to know the name and/or new transponder.

What mean switching AES? Do I need a special receiver?

Hope on a replay to this like to show that we know!

Zik is no longer carried on any of the satellites serving Europe. Its been the victim of the TPS migration to Canal+ on 19E

I cant believe the customer has only just missed it - according to the KingofSat database it closed on December 31st last year!

The customer says that the channel was lost end of June, and he has a card where he pays for the service.

But their office don't seem to be practicing very high customer service.

Can the channel not be found on a other brid like astra ?

Strange as the customer have not complained before and he don't seem like a man waiting to get all his TV solutions working.

No - Zik closed completely. Its one of the channels that isnt being migrated over to 19E during the TPS service run down
