Keys Not Working

Sorry for bringing this up everyone, I`m sure you`ve answered similar questions a 1000 times but I`ve tried to hold off posting for about 6 hours whilst trying to work it all out for myself and searching t'internet but what I am doing doesnt seem to work.

I`ve been trying to update my TPS keys all afternoon to no avail (first time Ive ever tried as I`ve only been motorised a week!).

I`ve followed a link posted on this site about 20 hours ago with new TPS keys (half were the same as the ones already in), input them into my Technomate 1500ci+ following instructions on the L*u*als site but am still getting nothing on Multivision apart from free stuff advertising whats on, then it scrambles when a programme starts.

I know they were changing every 20 mins or so in the past, is that the case now?

I also keep seeing AES mentioned in conjunction with TPS, whats that?

I hope I havent broken any forum rules with this post as I really wanted to work it out for myself but I have come to a dead end, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards

Phil

Hi philh,
the TPS AES key does change every 20 minutes or so, but are not random and are known for the week, Friday to Friday, just download and update your receiver with the latest darkman patch 06/10/06.
Best wishes
Mickha

Thank you so much Mickha, I will try doing that now and hopefully will see a result.

This has all been new to me today but at least I am learning as I go along!

Thanks again.
