My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The Indian channels carried in Europe are totally secure and can only be opened via a valid subscription.

You cant get the channels broadcasting diect into India - they are below our eastern horizon.

You are wasting your time.

There is a reasonable selection of Indian language channels broadcasting in the clear on Astra 2 28E - unless you subscribe these will have to do you.

Cool

Maybe this can help you?

_www.watchindia.tv

You can subscribe to this service to watch Indian channels on your TV or PC.
The all inclusive package costs $24.99 (£14.70) per month, which is reasonable cost. Also if you don't want to pay so much, you can pay less money, and see less channels.
You will not need a satellite system to watch.
You can get a free 2 week trial.

We are always here to help.

Once again, good luck!

Did you get a user manual with your new box?

If not, you should be able to download one free from the Fortec website, or there is a download on one of the other sat forums, if you will Google search for Fortec Star Beta user manual.

I got one, but don't see any reference to a secret menu for key edit.

In any case, there is NO WAY you will be able to watch scrambled channels with that system, or ANY SYSTEM. They ARE NOW ALL 100% SECURE!!!

Software support through patches ceased long ago. Typical Fortec.

To watch scrambled channels you need to PAY OR DO WITHOUT!!!
