mmm HyperFi aren't the greatest- they've been prosecuted for advertising stuff that they don't have at the prices shown. ie they only have one ex-demo model "but we have some in boxes, they're only 40% more expensive..."

Two well run "bargain" sites are www.hotukdeals.co.uk and www.moneysavingexpert.com

Thumbs up Cheap International Phone Calls - Amazing Rates

Thank you, Rolf.

I had a glance but Skype is asking for prepayment and you can not use home phone or office phone to make a call.

I prefer http://www.teleurope.co.uk because the calls are charged to your BT telephone bill. No prepayment and no credit card necessary.

I am not happy to use my credit card on-line for obvious reason.

Every little helps and a little help goes a long way!

Thanks for that "bucket", I have seen those sites but they do not do bi-focals. Just goes to show how we get ripped off.

No BG, bl**dy age related macular degeneration means that I miss a lot of the small print. I will have another, in depth look.

This is the only reference that I find on that site about bi-focals
quote" Do you supply bifocal lenses ?
Budgetspex believe that the supply of bifocal lenses without face to face contact with the customer would offer a disservice as the correct placement of bifocal segment is necessary for comfortable reading."
I agree with their honesty
