My System: Openbox x800, 1.3M dish pointed at Hotbird (13E?). P4 3.6GHz, 2Gb RAM, 1.1TTb H/Drives, 7900GT Grfx Card, BenQ FP91V, cheapo PC World TV card (Phillips 713x chipset)
Articles On Satellite TV (uncertain of procedure to add link)

Can I make this suggestion for the Info Sites section in the Big Links thread?
Sorry if I've misunderstood the way we're supposed to post links, I thought at first I should add a reply to the Big Links thread, it would get checked, and if passed as ok, added to the first post, having read the Introduction to the Links Section Thread, but the Big Links thread was closed, so posted here instead..

If you think a collection of articles on Satellite Systems might be of interest or use to you, and want to find out more, feel free to visit .

I don't sell them, the site is just a collection of articles on dishes, channels, technology etc. (as you may have guessed from the site's name ;> ) that I've collated, all used with permission. (You can click on the Articles1, 2, 3 & 4 links on the top right for a list of more.)

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

It's probably a little too heavily ad laden and seems to have too much information on American continental satellites to be suitable for the big links list.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciated. Next time I update the site, would it be ok to ask again, assuming I can make it more balanced, geographically speaking, or it is '1 strike and you're out'?

No that's fine, but the amount of advertising is a big minus.

Ta. I'm still playing with the ad setup. Would a similair amount/placement to this forum be acceptable, or should I aim lower? I'm probably going to lose the big amazon block on the right hand side, it doesn't seem to attract any clicks. I'd then be left with 3 Ad Sense blocks. (The other section at the bottom is just a straight Yahoo News RSS feed, not income generating). Grateful for your guidance, if you get a moment...
