RE receiver compatibility

i read your closed tread on receiver compatibility
with interest

the problems with a lot of recievers especially echostars
range can be solved by reprogramming the chip inside
the cam marked XILINX XC9536XL from the MM102/103 code
to the MM101 code these recievers like the echostar
AD3000IP then work 100% and open all channels including
kiosk on 1 west

you cant use the magic loader for this , what you need to do is
remove the chip to program it

but well worth doing for echostar and nokia users
