Just got at MR CAM and have a few questions: The cam works without card, so why do people use 6in1 files ? How do i update the keys ? I tried inserting a viaccess funcard (not 6in1) but the screen did not clear, untill i took out the card... why cant the cam read the funcard ? Does the funcard have to be a special type ? If i want to use a original Canal Digital card, can i use it in the MR CAM ? Or does the CAM need some special files loaded ? (using v. 1.06 on the MR CAM)

My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2. | Pandora The MR is designed to decrypt channels without a 6 in 1 card. All done by software in the cam itself. It requires updating from time to time which can be done with 2 funcard 6's or 3 funcard 5's. It's necessary to download the software on to the funcards first of course. Alternatively the cam can be updated with a CAS interface. As far as I know the MR will decrypt Irdeto and Connax channles with legit cards. Have a read through this site for all the info.

My System: TM-5400 CI+USB Super. Cryptik Digital H-H Mount. Diablo 2.3 Light. Cas 3+ | First of all you need to Initially load MR files 1.055 from the www matrixcam.com site, and as Jimbo has mentioned which can be done with 2 funcard 6's or 3 funcard 5's...this is done in your recievers setup menu with the MR inserted and should prompt you for card one etc!

| if you just want to update the keys then download one of the 6 in 1 files that says it has the mr keys with it. now look in the text file to get the keys required. now go throught your reciever menu to find the key foe changing. enter the new key. save and exit. some times it is quicker to load your card as 6 in 1 and put in in the cam, but no AU. you only need the multiple fun cards when you want to change the firmware in the cam. po | ||
