Help me find my boxkey MR

Hi all,

I'm new to this hobby so could do with some help in getting set up.

I bought a secondhand Matrix Reloaded form fleabay but I can't get it recognised through my PMCIA slot on my lappy. I tried using the drivers and following the instructions here but still no joy.

As far as I know, all i need is to be able to see the boxkey so I can program up a funcard with the same key - i believe everything should AU fine then.

Is there any app i can use to view the boxkey on the CAM when it is placed in a DVB-C card? I thought I might be able to see it in ProgDVB or something like that but I haven't been able to.

Any help much appreciated.

make sure your receiver is on a FTA channel
switch the receiver off completely (not on standby)
insert CAM switch on & wait.
use menu & follow till you get the CI menu up you have to scroll up I think to see the box key

I don't have a receiver, just a dvb-c card that goes into a computer pci slot.
