But can anyone still tell me if they have managed to update using IBM R40 XP laptop cause ive tried everything and it does not work.
Is there a reason to use the mr_pcmciap driver on the website as they are not english versions or can u use the pcmcia driver that comes with xp i have treid both but does not recognise cam mr1.04tb any help would b welcomed

It does not work with all laptops, yours is probably one of them.

hello i have put new version to my mr it was working fine before i had 2.14v i want it to change it to 2.13 so i can use a card with it cause the first version was revolution 2.14 and i have mr reload any way when i put it in my receiver it keep showing me initializing it want do anything or give me the new version i put i did this with cas 2 studio 1.4.7 can anyone help please thanks

I don't intend by this to make free advertisement to "duolab" guys, but I have tryed many systems for programming CAMs and CARDs, and I found the Philosophers' Stone in their latest programmer, the CAS Interface 2 + Add-on.
You can very easily and fast program various cams (no need for fun-cards) and with the add-on you cam program and repair Various Cards.

To JACINTO, if you have a MR cam with MRev soft in it, you will not be able to read a card.
On a MReloaded cam, by experience, I can say that MR1.071 was the last soft to read well cards.

I am receiving Cabo right now using that config:
MR1.071 + BlueTit card with TMB2.8 (the latest)

good tutorial, almost perfect. But how can we edit keys with the fun card? In most MR versions the receiver doesn't let us enter into the CAM's keys submenu. Whenever we choose a provider the CAM initialise itself instead of opening the keys.

Lazeerider - you can make your own firmware files with new keys and then put them onto fun card files if you want. Search for sep on this forum eg.

I just read your info about upgrading keys with remote control to Matrix cam revolutions. But, unfortunately, I couldn't find HOW TO PUT KEYS CODES WITH REMOTE CONTROL. I have a KAON decoder KSC 500H and MRV 2.16. Thanks for helping.

Hi to all of you.
I am first time on the forum but I have bought my Matrix Reloaded Cam two years ago and from that time a haven't updated it, only manually with remote control so I know a little bit about it. All I want to know is what is the UCAS and Windows updater 1.3 (I know Windows 98 has version 1.3). I got some information from http://www.neptunboard.com/get_topic.asp?FID=16&TID=738&DIR=P but I still want to know more. And can I use a dummy card to program my MatrixRd.
Which one is better with or without extension power supplay.
What is different beetwin MtrReload and Revolution and which CAM is the best for today.

I tried to upade the firmware of my MRV with a Fun4 as showen in the "complete mr guid" but when I insert the first fun card 4 and after the message "Performing smart card download..." instead of the message "Download card completed" or "Insert card 2", I see this message "cable removed or baudrate too high for this STB. Please try again." I tried many times but always the same message

Could you help me?

Is it possible to update MRV firmware with Fun4?

Is it the same flash file for MR and MRV?

if not, did you know where can I find a flash file for funcard4 to update a matrix revolution card?

I am relatively new to the satellite scene and have got a Matrix Reloaded cam which was sold to me working perfectly and allowing me to watch all the Multivision channels, however after about three months all channels disapeared.

The sat guy would re-connect me but at a charge of £60....

What do I need to do and how?

Does anyone know the answer?

I have echostar ad 3000 ip viaccess + matrix revolutions cam (actually it is a magic cam updated to matrix revolutions cam).

Now I still use MRV 2.22 and I want update to the last version. Unfortunately I don't have programmer for cams only programmer for cards (USB Infinity). It seems that it is possible to update matrix revolutions cam with fun card or with laptop!!!

Can you please tell me if it is true and how to do it?
