When Two Remotes Collide

Just bought a freeview box for the bedroom, and found its remote control codes collide with the existing TV set.

Nowt much ewe can do about it, except position the freeview box in a way that is out of sight of the TV. So it's behind the chest of drawers.

He battled for 3 days against the Tux and won! Hurray!!

Yes, I know the feeling. Had in the past two equipments with colliding remotes.
Nowadays a manufacturer like Pioneer gives 3 different codes for it's DVR models and there is a plugin for Dreambox to solve this problem if you have 2 receivers of the same models.
Have you tried calling Sky for a solution ?

Thanks for the replies. Like HB13DISH says, there could be 3 different codes for this Alba freeview box. One might not collide with the TV.

My Philips TV downstairs has a potential 5 different sets of codes.
