Hi everyone, i have sky coming tomorrow to fit my new dish etc, the problem is i want the dish up on the chimney but people say they wont go up on the roof? i was gonna get the roof ladder out all ready for them too! if they dont i wonder if they would let me bolt the thing up there for them, to complete the install ![]()

Is there any particular reason why you want it up there?

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased... The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | You couldn't. if there's an electrical fault in either house, the LNB will have a lot of power go through it and blow up both boxes and the LNB too, aswell as start a fire and do a lot of damage to one of the houses, and I'm sure someone wouldn't be happy with this site if that happened... ![]()

Satlook nit colour + Horizon hdsm. wii ![]() | But over here we do a lot of jobs involving sharing of 3m dishes up to 4 houses on a quad lnb. And we do have some big storms (yes lnbs and digiboxes blow up) and fluctuating mains voltage and power cuts.

Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2. | The fitter could be subbing for sky so used to heights. He gets paid by sky when he gets your card activated. Maybe you could bung him something to get the dish where you want but that would depend on what time he has.
