The Child Benefit data on them includes name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number and, where relevant, bank details of 25 million people. Chancellor Alistair Darling said there was no evidence the data had gone to criminals - but urged people to monitor bank accounts "for unusual activity". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7103566.stm

My System: Pretend to know what I'm doing. Only the clever ones rumble me. ![]() ...Now he's joined a sat forum, And boy does he borem, When the hind legs off a donkey - he talks | I do think that the junior member of staff in question should have been given a proper induction. I would have probably asked if he or she knew the difference between a post box and an elephant. If the reply had been 'No', I certainly wouldn't have trusted them to post a letter - never mind a security sensitive package. (The old ones are the best).
