FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S ![]() The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue | A (very) near miss for a Lufthansa A380 at Hamburg. 1st March 2008 The plane landed safely a few minutes later with no injuries.

That did look bad... It always amazes me how they fly at an angle in a strong crosswind I always remember those types of maths questions where you row across a river but the current is flowing right to left and you end up reaching the other side two miles downstream, this is a similar sort of effect

A heavy landing than hard on the brakes. When the plane turned round we discovered its not a place to overshoot - If you go off the end of the runway theres a fence, then you have a small road then a 40 foot drop off a cliff onto a beach!

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased... The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | I remember being on a flight from France to Teeside airport that landed like that, not as extreme, but still very scary... ![]() Youd have thought that due tothe weather they'd have found an alternative airport to land at, to se winds looked dangerous!!!
