Very strong gusty winds here in west of East Anglia.

Neighbour's wind chimes woke me up

Hardly noticed anything up here in the north west. Typical of you pantywaisted southern jessies to get worked up about a little light breeze.

I've seen more wind after I've eaten a can of baked beans...

Yes I know Paul, we've eaten together and I remember.

But I have to say that today's wind was a little more than even you could generate on a curried baked beans and Guinness diet.

Pretty uneventful here, don't think the winds got up to full steam in this part of the country, still a bit breezy though.

Winds are bad in the Midlands.

I had a Quad LNB snap off a boom arm of customers dish from the bad wind last night

I took this photo down at the sea front near New Brighton. Have to say I'm very pleased with it, mind you there are another 10 or so very mediocre ones to go with it. It really is a matter of luck.

Sorry I didn't post it earlier but first of all I forgot to take my card reader in, then I forgot my USB memory stick and then I left my memory stick at work!

The wind farm is off the coast of Crosby on the other side of the river, which is of course the River Mersey. You can also see the docks and old grain store there.

The "old" Brighton was, and still is, on the south coast somewhere...

That's a cracking shot Paul, really dramatic.

Do you mind if I have a little play with it to get rid of the shadow?

Feel free Rolf. I'm not sure whether the shadow is from the clouds or whether *ahem* I had my finger partially obscuring the lens.

LOL, I think it's the finger, just had a quick play and increased the contrast a little, I'll have a proper play tomorrow.
